Zach met David Huang, who is an artist from Taipei (Taiwan) and the owner of Two Fish Gallery in Phnom Penh, three weeks ago when we bought David's painting. After chatted with Zach for awhile, David said that Zach has a talent in drawing/painting because he has good imaginations (those gene surely came from Jerome!). He said that was the key to be an artist.

We told him that Zach has been into drawing for last two months, he drew everyday and mostly he drew cartoon’s characters. He offered us to privately teach Zach in drawing. He asked me to bring all his drawings in the first class. When I showed him all Zach's paintings, he proudly told me that he was right about Zach. He liked all Zach's ideas, even he was surprised that Zach is only 5 years old.

Below is Zach’s first drawing at David’s class. David has framed it and wanted us to keep it. This drawing has finished after two times lessons.


Last night, David asked our permission to involve Zach in his next exhibition on 19 October 2007 at his gallery, other Cambodian kids will also involve in this exhibition. The drawings will be for sale and the money will go for charity.

For next two weeks, Zach has to make other drawings for David’s charity exhibition.
