Zach is growing now and he become very sensitive. Since Jerome travels a lot, he often misses his Daddy. When Jerome was in Cambodia recently, he asked "does Daddy still love me?". He wants a lot of attention from us (maybe because most of our attention goes to Jake now). He likes to give us attention by making drawings or paintings or gives me flowers that he picked at downstairs or his school.
He still likes to give us a lot of questions. Sometimes we can not answer it. Even, Jerome asked our neighbour through email to find out the answer of Zach's question "Why does ice float?". He asked this question when we were at Jeremy Gross's house warming party on 26 August 2006. We had a long discussion about this in email.
Following is other Zach's questions that I remember.
"Daddy why is concrete sticky?"
"Why does wind put out the candle?"
And the best one:
Zach: "Daddy who is Jesus?"
Jerome: "Uhm, Jesus was avery wise man who lived a very long ime ago."
Zach: "So, why do you say his name so much?"
Please let me know if you have the answers to any of the questions above.
Jake is about 11 months old now. He can crawl, stand for a brief time and walk about two steps on his own. When Jerome and I come home from work, he speeds across the floor on all fours heading straight for us. His little hands make tiny "slap .. slap" sounds on our marble floor. He holds up his arms to asks us to pick him up.
He understand few words, "duduk" (sit) - "minum" (drink) - "No" - Mommy - Daddy - Kakak Zach - "sudah" (finish). Every time, we say those words, he will understand and follow what we ask him to do. He can say "sudah". He will say this word when he finishes eating, drinking or bathing.
He still drools a lot. Seems that another tooth will come soon. He likes to dance, everytime he hear the rhytm of music and he wiggles his bum, move his fingers up and down, and with his big smile he will look at us to ask us to dance with him. He likes to watch Pocoyo at Disney Channel.
He does not like formula milk yet but he eats a lot. He likes to eat both baby and adult food.
