Today is Jake's one week birthday. We ordered a black forest cake to celebrate it but of course Jake would not get any. I suppose he will indirectly get some through my breast milk.
Jake had a circumcision on Friday and it has already healed. His umbilical cord also has come out. And today we brought him to see Dr. Wati, our lovely pediatrician. I felt relieved after seeing her and she said that Jake was fine. She is the best pediatrician in Indonesia (as far as we know). After seeing Dr. Wati, we had our dinner and cake together.
Zach is a good brother, he is not jealous yet. He wants to play with Jake but unfortunately Jake is still too small to play with him. He also wants to share his toys, hugs Jake, kisses him, and at the beginning he did not want to go to school, he just wanted to stay with Jake. He keeps saying "baby Jake is adorable" or "baby Jake is cuuuute" or "cooci cooci coo". We didn't teach him any of these words. He just picked them up on Disney Channel. All of you can see in these pictures how happy he is with his young brother.

Tonight, we also decided to give Jacob a nickname: "Coby" taken from the last syllable of his name. Canadians use first syllables for nicknames but it is the Indonesian to use the last. (Jerome often calls me "'Luh", pronounced Loo) Zach insists on calling him "little Jake" though!
